Slaeter Joshua Sullivan

Here are more pictures of Slaeter taken by a good friend (thanks kristin!). He was 3 weeks in these pictures and has put on quite a bit more weight. I will post more recent pictures in the days to come. I'm beginning to see that Slaeter is extremely social. He loves to be in the middle of all that goes on and soaks in all the conversation. In this way, he is much like Mya was when she was a baby. Here he is soaking in the one-on-one time with daddy.
Because he is so social, I am grateful for these little girlies. He will lay in his cradle, content to watch them dance and sing - free entertainment! I remember how difficult it was to get things done and entertain Mya, but there is no lack of excitement around our house these days and thankfully, he seems to enjoy it. Slaeter is "pretty chill", as Nate would say, and manages to take naps despite the noise and chaos. Some families operate well on a strict schedule, we don't. Two things are pretty routine around here, wake-up time and bedtime. Outside that, we just "go with the flow yo!"

Slaeter Sullivan is a Bronco fan. He just doesn't quite know it yet. =) I determined to decorate it according to Nate's wishes (thanks for the tip Paige). I've had fun with the girl's room exceedingly and wanted Nate to experience the thrill of walking into a room decorated to his fancy. I admit, he's not into the whole decorating, HGTV, home improvement thing like me, but I dare say he gets a sparkle in his eye when showing off his son's room.

Sweet baby boy... Sleeping soundly... Soft and smooth... I love you SO Slaeter Sullivan. God keep you!
Slaeter - Skilled (spiritual meaning)
And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship. Exodus 31:3
Joshua - God is my Salvation/ Bringer of Truth
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it... this one will be blesed in what he does. james 1:25
Sullivan - Deep Wisdom
The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, to turn aside from the snares of death. Prov. 13:14
My prayer is that Slaeter will use his skill, whatever gift God has given him, to serve the Lord and bring Truth to those searching, desperately in need of Truth. May wisdom keep him from losing his way, and lead him to follow "the way, the truth, an the life". I pray God uses him in a mighty way to serve His purposes.
